Concrete Plant Start Time:

During the Summer Months (April - October) we do not start operating the Concrete Plant until between 7:15am and 7:30am in the mornings. Occasionally lines do begin much earlier than opening time to pick up carts. Carts go out on a first come first served basis. During the winter months (November & March) we do not start the plant until around 9am (depending on temperature it could be later).

Waitlists:

When all the concrete carts are out, we will start a waitlist for carts. If a customer gets on the waitlist, they must remain in our yard while they wait for their turn. We will call the customers in the order that they are on the list and will have 5 minutes to be in the office before we will contact the next person in line and turn it over to them. If we are in a waitlist situation, customers will be limited to only 2 consecutive loads with the cart before it will need to be turned over to the next waiting customer.

The Cities listed above are within our Extended Service Area for our Tow Behind Cart-Away Concrete U Carts to go to.They have additional Restrictions in place that will need to be adheredto.

1. The option to have our staff clean out the Concrete Cart is not an option. The Customer will need to clean the cart out on their site. This involved emptying all the mud from the cart into an approved container. Washing the inside of the concrete cart out with a hose and high pressure nozzle, then dumping that water and any mud or gravel that washed off out into an approved container. Then adding another round about 5 - 10 gallons of water into the concrete cart and allow it to rotate the entire time until it comes back. We should be able to dump the clean water out and it should come out mostly clear and no concrete, gravel, or sand should dump out with the water.
2. Understand that taking a concrete cart to some of these further cities will likely cause for you to go over the 2 1/2 hour limit allotted and you will be responsible for paying for any late charges incurred.
3. The concrete carts may run out of fuel when pushing the 2 1/2 hour limit. You are responsible in keeping that concrete cart in rotation while it is in your possession and if it runs out of fuel due to length of time, you will refuel it in order to bring it back to us with the motor running and the concrete cart rotating in the mix direction with clean water in it.
4. Understand that if proper clean out procedures are not followed, and any concrete hardens up inside the concrete cart, around the fins, etc, that you may be responsible to pay an hourly fee of $100 hr for us to jack hammer and chisel out the hardened on cement.

Cities that arenot included in the lists above likely fall out of our service area and most likely we will not allow the concrete carts to go there. Please call and inquire prior to coming to get a concrete cart. Any city not listed will require a manager to approve it.

Tow Behind Concrete Cart Requirements:

• 1/4 CUBIC YARD TO 1 1/2 CUBIC YARD CARTS MAY BE TOWED BY A 1/2 TON OR LARGER PICKUP TRUCK. NO SUV’S.
• 1 3/4 CUBIC YARD CART MUST BE TOWED WITH A 3/4 TON OR LARGER PICKUP TRUCK. NO SUV’S.
• CART #’s 1 – 5 (1/4 YARD – 1 1/4 YARD INCREMENT CARTS REQUIRE A 2″ BALL FRAME MOUNTED HITCH TO TOW.
• CART #6, 7, & 8 1 3/4 YARD CART REQUIRES A 2 5/16″ BALL FRAME MOUNTED HITCH TO TOW.
• A VALID UNITED STATES DRIVERS LICENSE FOR THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO TOW CONCRETE CARTS
• FOR NON BILLING ACCOUNTS – CASHPAY OR CREDIT CARD CUSTOMERS – A VALID CREDIT CARD IS REQUIRED TO BE ON FILE IN ORDER TO TOW THE CONCRETE CARTS
• NO COLORED DYE WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE USED IN THE CONCRETE CARTS. USING IT WILL CAUSE ADDITIONAL CHARGES AND LOSS OR USE PRIVILEGES.

Concrete Cart Carrying Capacity

• We have concrete carts that can carry between 1/4 cubic yard and 1 3/4 cubic yards.

Use of Concrete Carts

• Concrete Cart Charges are for 1 load.
• The concrete carts come with a use period of up to 2 1/2 hours or until 1 HOUR prior to close of business day if LESS than 2 1/2 hours is remaining when cart use begins. Late charges will be billed for any amount beyond the time allotted.
• No dye is allowed to be used in the concrete carts.
• Concrete carts shall only be used with concrete supplied by Asphalt Materials Inc.

Concrete Cart Availability

• The Concrete Cart Plant operates March – October and may go into November depending upon weather.
• Concrete carts are available on a first come first served basis. No holds or reservations will be accepted. We have a limited supply and at times they may all be out or certain sizes of carts may all be out and an in person wait may happen. We do not guarantee availability due to the high demand on the concrete carts and other materials.

• SUMMER MONTHS (April – October) WEEKDAYS: 1:30pm is the latest Concrete Carts will be allowed to go out.
• SUMMER MONTHS (April – October) SATURDAYS: 10:00am is the latest Concrete Carts will be allowed to go out.
• These time limits insure that the customers have enough time to pour their cement and return the carts prior to our closing hours.
• WINTER MONTHS (March & November) WEEKDAYS: 12:30pm is the latest Concrete Carts will be allowed to go out.
• WINTER MONTHS (March & November) SATURDAYS: CLOSED
